Hi there (^-^)v
I hope you're all having a great weekend ~♥
I finally have my semester break, but before I can
fully relax I still need to focus on some upcoming exams.
Today I want to show you some of my casual outfits
I'm wearing a lot recently.
I will also show you a gift parcel I got
from my dear friend Bea ♥ who's currently living near Tokyo.
I really love this moon necklace and lots of people
keep on asking me where I got it. So I'll
mention it again: I got it here on ebay for only 3 € !
If the link is expired just search for 'pink moon necklace' and you'll find it.
~♥~
I really want to wear this poncho more often,
I got it 2012 for Christmas at kumimakiko.com :
~♥~
So cozy ! I love warm socks ♥
There's another big update to my life ~♪
In the beginning of January I took this cute Hamster baby home
to live with me ♥ ヽ(^◇^*)/ ワーイ☆彡
My boyfriend Valentin went with me that day and helped me search.
It took us the whole day and we went from pet shop
to pet shop in Düsseldorf until we finally found a store that has
a Syrian Hamster. First I thought we'd never find one and I
almost started to cry but then in the last store when it was
already getting dark outside we saw her *o*
Flauschi ♥ (=fluffy in German)
She has long fur *-*
Now she has really settled down. Some of you might have
seen it on my facebook, I've lost my last hamster Pichu last year
and it was really tragic and shocking for me as the hamster was only
1 year old. The doctor told me it had a genetic defect and eventually
Pichu had to be euthanized because he had a very severe seizure
one morning which wouldn't stop. I rushed to the emergency vet
(I'm lucky we have things like this here in Düsseldorf)
at 6:30 a.m. but nothing could be done, sadly.
It really took me a lot to get over it and to accept his death.
But thanks to my boyfriend and my friends I came to the conclusion
that this shouldn't stop me from giving a home to animals
and being a good mother to a new hamster v(。・ω・。)ィェィ♪
I like to think of the idea that some day when I have reached more
than a hundred years and I finally go to heaven (hopefully
something like this exists ^_~) on my cloud there will be
all of my past hamsters and pets happily waiting for me.
~♥~
I also have some update pictures I took of me while
participating in the Kimono club of my University.
This is one of my more modest Kimono :
[no make-up]
One day some of the Japanese women of the other Kimono club
in Düsseldorf wanted to practise dressing up tall people in
Furisode Kimono because they were going to dress up some models
in Berlin for a big event. The leader of our University's Kimono club
also is a member of the other Kimono club consisting of the
Japanese women living in Düsseldorf.
Recently they have also invited me to join their club *-*
I hope I can further improve my Japanese and Kimono skills there.
They practise once a month and I'm already totally excited !
Due to this club membership I'll also join the
Japanese club of Düsseldorf ♥ デュッセルドルフ日本クラブ
They organize most of the things concerning the Japan Day
in Düsseldorf. And the Kimono club also has a Kimono dress-up
stall each year there where you can get dressed up.
Me at their dress up practise:
[I was quite stressed due to university that day so I didn't look so great ;D]
Now I'll show you the gift parcel Bea sent me from
Japan this month ♥
I can't put to words how thankful I am you really are too sweet ♥
Happy Neko is Happy ! \(*T▽T*)/ワーイ♪
So let's see what was in it.
A necklace from MA*RS :
I think those kind of necklaces are really cute, I've been wanting such
since so long I can't believe I finally have one *-*
I'm super excited to put it into new looks soon.
Bea handcrafted a key chain for my Tamagotchi P's
but as I love it so much I currently attached it to my phone.
You're really awesome at making cute things ! *o*
This totally hits my taste ♥
A floral Liz Lisa dress :
A super fluffy cardigan in soft pink ♪ I will use it for
Fairy Kei & Pastel Goth outfits.
A pencil case by MyMelody ♥
She even found a micro mini baby FANT ! *O* OH MY GOSH
It's Mouton from Sentimental Circus.
But my boyfriend and I call him "Fant" as it's cuter.
We kinda have invented a whole story around
this cute little blue elephant. Sometimes we joke around and
say if neither of us succeed with our job plans then we might
at least end up famous for a children's television show or
for children's books due to all our stories & characters
that we like to invent for fun ~♥
For this Christmas he got me the big "Mega Fant" :D ♥
I bought the medium sized Fant shotly after I moved to
Düsseldorf and I could not be happier about that decision as
it started a big cute universe my boyfriend and I create around this
for entertainment =D The baby Fant on the very right is his ^^
We also gave our dear friend Bea a baby Fant before she went
to Japan for 1 year so she didn't have to go alone ^_~
In the parcel there was also this cute white headband :
Hello Kitty face mask :
I think they are really cute and totally practical.
I'm sad that it isn't socially accepted in Germany or "normal"
to wear such a thing in public transport. I've experienced
really disgusting things in the subway considering people sneazing...
I think I'll use this sometimes when I am sick because
I want to be a considerate person and not infect other people.
I also want to have it with me in my handbag to be ready to use it in
public transport if people get too close to me. I really don't like it
to be close to strangers on the subway and I feel really better when
I know I can protect myself from whatever they might have...
I don't want to sound paranoid or like a hypothondriac
but if you could see most of the people that use the subway here
you would totally understand and favour a face mask too.
I really hate it if you can very visibly see or smell that
people are filthy and do not take good care of themselves...
Panty stockings :
Marie key chain by Disney :
Winter Hello Kitty ♥
Doremi key chain *o*
I've watched this anime when I was in elementary school
every day and I still love it ♪
Ichigo Milk ♥ Love love love it ヾ(●⌒∇⌒●)ノ わーい
Nail jewelry ~ After my exams I want to
finally paint my nails more elaborately again.
I like the roses the most,
actually I love everything with soft pink roses !
Japanese sweets :
~♥~
And a cute top she gave me some time ago, I still need
to take better photos with it ^^ Thank you so much again ♥
I have so many new Outfits ready I can't wait to take pictures
of all. I also have some new wigs. I will start writing about
everything in the end of February, so stay tuned ♥
Last sunday I visited my family and my mother gave me this
book as a present. She's the best *-* ♥
She loves reading and has read countless books, in the evenings
I can always find her sitting in the kitchen reading a new book.
She's always looking for new things to read and so she stumbled
across the latest book of one of the greatest Japanese authors :
Haruki Murakami
This book is called: Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage.
I've already finished reading it and it is now among my most
favourite books. It gave me a lot of things to think about and
really gave me some new ways of thinking !
I think this book is so valuable ♥ it really tells you some
basic but very crucial things about living and thinking.
To me the most important aspect of this book was
self-image and how it affects your life.
I personally have learned one important thing:
I am not colorless ♥ Everybody is truly special
and most of the time we are not able to see our own value
but others DO.
This also reminds me of a message embedded in my
favourite Manga Fruits Basket.
The main Character Thoru Honda tells another Character the
following:
"If you think of someone's good qualities as the umeboshi
(Japanese salt plums) in an onigiri, it's as if their qualities are stuck
to their back! People around the world are like onigiri.
Everyone has an umeboshi with a different shape and color and flavor.
But because it's stuck on their back,
they might not be able to see their umeboshi.
"There's nothing special about me. I'm just white rice." [in her head]
That's not true. There is an umeboshi -- on your back. [aloud]
Maybe the reason people get jealous of each other, is because
they can see so clearly the umeboshi on other people's backs.
I can see them, too. I can see them perfectly.
There's an amazing umeboshi on your back, Kyo-kun."
~♥~
This is one quote that I have carved into my heart.
I think this is deeply true and I always try to keep that in mind.
This manga has really shaped me during growing up and I think
it really teaches a lot of great things.

See you next time (^-^)v ~♪
