Visiting a temple with my Kimono club ♥ Neko in a Furisode Kimono

Hi there (^-^)v ~♪
On the 1st of January 2014 I visited the buddhist
Eko-Ji Temple in Düsseldorf with the Kimono club of my
university in which I am. We had a really great time ♥
I hope all of you had a great start into this year !
My friend Bea who's currently living in Japan let me wear
her Furisode Kimono ! I love how it looks *-*
Our leader Becci helped everyone with the complicated
Obi tie-techniques. Thank's for always being so helpful and caring ! :3
It felt really nice to go out wearing Kimono again in such a big group.
These are some of our Kimono club members :

[ In the background of the photo you can see the temple ]
~♥~
If you want to wear a Kimono too you can get dressed
 and borrow a Kimono-Set for 1 Day here :
Kimono Rental : Hanabiraya
The service is only available in Düsseldorf and the area around it.
~♥~
I was really glad Becci let me wear one of their white stoles
for Kimono *-* I've always been wanting to wear one.
You also wear this on
♥ Seijin no Hi 成人の日 ♥
It's a Japanese holiday called coming of age day on which
you realize and celebrate that you have become an adult.
It is held anually on the second monday of January.
So my time finally comes next monday ! I'm really excited ♪
This day has been something really special to me since I learned
about it when I was 14. I think the outfits are really enchanting
and very appropriate for such an important event in your live.
Heer are some pictures from
Seijin no Hi in Japan :

Oh gosh the pink Kimono on the very left is the prettiest ever !
I want to get a similar one soon ♥

I also did her hair ♪ I think she looked really elegant.
Our leader Becci ~ her Obi was just stunning ♥

At the temple you could put some money in this box and then pray.
Inside :
After our visit at the temple we all cooked together with Becci at her home.
She translated some Japanese recipes for us ♥
I'm always happy to learn some new things to cook from her ! *-*
Her food always is so delicious. We had different kinds of Onigiri,
self-made Miso soup and some side dishes.
I cooked the sweet potatoes :
Neko's music:

A song by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu fitting to Seijin no hi:
can you hear her sing: "Hatachi 二十歳
" ?
It means "being 20 years old" ♥ like I am.
English Lyrics :
Hatachi(=20 years old), hatachi, hatachi, hatachi!
I, hatachi, frisodation of hatachi!
Hatachi, hatachi, only hatachi?
You see, I'm hatachi, hurisodation of hatachi!

Hello,
on such an aniversary
I can say "thank you" from my heart
Though I'm always shy,
this is the important day, just onece in my life

The bitter part of chocolate...
Is it adult? Is is child?
I wanna dream forever, so
get into this rhythm

Thank you,
to meet you everyone,
I have had many kinds of adventure
This year, and even next year comes,
I won't forget this excitement!

I light the candle light
for you, who always love a love like
the sweet and sour part
in a short cake

Is it happy to be an adult?
Is it sad to be an adult?
What to do?
What can I do?
Can I do only now?

Thank's for reading !
See you next time (^-^)v ~♥ nyan

CosDay 2013 in Frankfurt & our Kimono dressing fair stand ♥

Hi there (^-^)v
On the 13.-14.7.13 I went to the CosDay in Frankfurt.
It's a convention for Cosplay, Anime and Japanese Pop-culture.
I went there with the Kimono club of my university, we had
a fair stand and dressed up visitors in Kimono.
It was an extremely stressful weekend and we were all so busy but it
was also very exciting and fun. I also met some old friends, on the
picture above you can see Stephie and me ~♥
It was so nice meeting you again ! I visited her a long time ago
to go to the bookfair in Frankfurt with her ^^
I wrote about the fair in 2010
in this old entry .
Our fair stand :
Our Kimono dressing service : Hanabira-ya.
On the image above  are only a few of the club members the
others were busy doing other things
at the CosDay.
We mostly were always doing something and I had to go around
and
give the visitors our flyers and do some promotion.
Luckily my boyfriend also spend the weekend with us as
he was our photographer.
Here are a few of our costumers :
Furisode ♥
~♥~
Bea Senpai and me ~♥
I only wore a Yukata that day as the pretty and more fancy
Kimono should remain for our costumers. But I also like this
Yukata a lot and it was very comfortable on that super
hot summer day. I did not have much time for my outfit that day
and I even did my hair in 5 minutes at the CosDay !
That weekend I mostly had to be dressed as
practical as possible. I only did a simple bow with my
Hanhaba Obi ♥ I got the Obi as a birthday present from the club
leaders, who got it from Japan.
I also saw lots of great Cosplayers, my absolute
favourite outfit of the day was the one of Tine .
She is the cutest fairy I've ever seen !
I really wish to build such wings myself as well. I hope
I can manage to do that soon.
 ~♥~
Sadly I looked really tired that day as it was the 2nd day
and I did not wear any make-up only a little bit of mascara.
But I really wanted to have some pictures with her as she
looked so stunning ~♥ Great Cosplay !
And some snapshots my boyfriend took of me while working :
 ~♥~
Our fair stand :

~♥~
Some other fair stands :
The CosDay took place in the NordWestZentrum, a huge shopping mall
and also a big place outside and in another building with a stage and
lots of
shops for anime and Japan related items.
The whole area was huge. It was a great thing that some stands
were in the mall as we were able to buy lots of iced smoothies
and other refreshing things.
 Neko's music :

• SeeU- Fantasy
All in all it was a super awesome weekend as I could
spend it with my friends from the Kimono club and
did lots of exciting things, but it was also very
exhausting. Luckily we could stay at the farm of
my Senpai Becci's Parents ! We could relax there,
enjoy the nature and even had a huge barbecue (vegetarian for me)
in the evening ~♥ Her parents and grand parents were super nice
and to me it felt like short holidays
We also spend the evenings with the kittens & other animals
on the farm *O* I will write about that in my next entry.
Thanks for reading !
Bye bye (^-^)v nyan ~♪

My Japan Day 2013 in Düsseldorf ♥

Hi there (^-^)v
Last weekend I went to the Japan Day 2013 in Düsseldorf
I met so many new people & old friends it was really
exciting and is still one of my favourite events of the year.
I went there with my boyfriend and spend the day with some friends.
I had 2 outfits for the day.
• Outfit 1 on the picture above :
Dress : Liz Lisa
Poncho : Cherié ( from Japan )
Shoes : Body Line
Cat ears : Necomimi Neuro wear
Bag : My Melody
Umbrella : Primark
Tights : Primark
• Outfit 2 Furisode Kimono
My Senpai Bea lended me the Kimono and also the
Liz Lisa dress and poncho, she is so kind ♥ *-*
She  dressed me and did this awesome ribbon at
the back of the Obi :
It was the first time she did this kind of ribbon and she
used a Japanese manual for it, like every time when she
does a new ribbon etc. I think she did very well, didn't she ? ♥
( I hope I can read more Japanese &
fashion instructions in the future as
well ;D )
★'.・.LOVE~(^▽^(^▽^*)~LOVE.・.・:☆

Of course my boyfriend went with me that day.
He took most of the photos, hihi ♥
Like I said I met lots of people \(^-^)/
I was very happy I also met Sui Princess again ♥
I just love her style, she's a great inspiration for me *-*
With the Diadem Twinz
I was so happy to see you guys, we need to meet soon again ♥
With Momoko and Ai  :
Lots of love to you all ! You looked so cute ^-^
With the lovely Jasmin Hawkeye ~♥
I spent lots of time with my Senpai Bea and Simon, who's
also in the Kimono club (as there are Kimonos for men as well)
With my Senpai \(^-^)/ ~♥
I was so super happy to meet you again *o*
Your such a lovely girl and I really love your style and personality ~♥
I hope you see this :3 ♥♥♥
Look at her boat ! I wish I had a headband like this as well ^^
I also went to the Okinii with some friends

All you can eat ! I just love this place ♥
This image was for a newspaper called express Düsseldorf :
[ but they made lots of mistakes in their report !
They said I was wereing a wig, they just assumed that. But as most of you know
that is my real hair ! They also said I was 19 and not 20...]

With Chiara
It's been so long since the last time I saw you,

you're so sweet I was happy to get a photo with you :3
I wish we could have talked longer ^^
And a picture she took :
Later on I was really happy my Senpai Bea lended me
this Poncho as it got quite cold while we were waiting
for the Japanese Fireworks display ~♥
It's just so fluffy and warm *-*

Luckily I brought a large pink bedspread
which I use as picnic blanket. We also had a second
blanked as it got really cold and this was the
3rd Japanese fireworks display I saw at the Japan day,
so I knew it's was going to get cold.
But we were totally fine ♥ It was so cozy ~♪
We saw the display with our old good friends Max & Michi ^^
~♥~
And the Kimono Sensei Yoko Sawa who joined us
at the Dokimi ( read more here ) even was in the
newspaper of Düsseldorf as she helped at the
Kimono fitting stall of the Japan Day.
I also met her after the fireworks display when my boyfriend
and I went home. I was glad I could talk to her again ^^
